The Villetta Gelsomina is a beautiful newly restored rustic holiday home, settled in a quiet and sunny location in the countryside around Modica, on the in the Souteast of Sicily. On the outskirts are some very interesting localities such as Noto, Scicli, Ragusa and Siracusa which can easicly be visited by car. Villetta Gelsomina is placed within a small countryside private estate with olive trees, almond trees and other typical plants of the region and has a large terrace equipped for 'Al fresco dining' (furniture, barbecue) and a little garden shaded by a characteristic mulberry tree.
Inside the house still maintains the traditional ceilings with visible wooden
beams and has been furnished with comfortable and functional rustic
style furniture. Within the property there is also a small outhouse which
is occasionally inhabited by the owners.
