The Villa 'La Rosa Dei Venti' is situated near the village of Scopello, in close vicinity to the Ancient Borgo (Borough) and the once highly important but nowadays inactive tuna-fishing location. Only a few kilometres away lies the nature reserve Park Zingaro, with its unspoiled landscapes and its beautiful uncontaminated bays an ideal destination for hiking and bathing in crystal sea waters. The vegetation that surrounds the villa is typically Mediterranean, as well as the villa itself, thanks to the characteristically natural materials used for its construction.
The open plan living room of the villa is very large and luminous, the furniture is in the Sicilian art style “agreste”, and therefore lends the house a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. There are three bedrooms, one double with a queen-size bed, one twin with bunk beds and a third bedroom with bunk beds. One of the bedrooms with bunks can also be changed to a double or a twin as well.
The holiday home is surrounded by a partially covered terrace equipped with a barbeque area and garden furniture enabling outdoor meals and relaxation with views of the private garden and the ocean.
The premises also offer a swimming pool with hydro-massage for pleasant refreshment during the hot summer days as a convenient alternative to the beach in 3 kilometres distance.
La Rosa Dei Venti is about 45 kilometres from the International airport of Palermo and about 40 kilometres from the airport of Trapani/Birgi.
The nearest town with restaurants and grocery store is Scopello in 4.5km distance. The closest city is Castellammare del Golfo (10 km) which is the place to find all amenities and services such as banks, post, shops, pharmacy etc. Castellammare del Golfo also offers a large sandy beach.
The little fascinating Baglio of Scopello offers typical restaurants, pizzeria and bars where you can enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere and savour traditional dishes of authentic Sicilian cuisine.
