 (updated October 3rd, 2021)

Thank you for your kind understanding, that, unless you are a customer of ours, we are unable to answer additional questions which you may not find answered in the below information page.

To check the measures for your country to enter Italy please check via the following link on the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on the website of the Italian Ministry for Health.

Sicily in Yellow Zone until 8th October: The infection numbers in Sicily are falling again and are below those of Northern European countries. White Zone will be back from 9th October onward. For now Sicily is in Yellow Zone. Yellow Zone means: it is mandatory to wear masks also outdoors. To stay indoors of restaurants and bars you would need to present a green pass or negative test/antibody certificate (also paper form). Italian Ministry for Health (not always fully updated). Max 4 guests per table in restaurants are allowed.

Travellers from the UK: Fully vaccinated travellers from the UK do not have to quarantine for 5 days anymore for arrivals in Italy and Sicily from 31st August onward.

Infection numbers in Sicily: the infection numbers in Sicily are falling while the island is still in Yellow Zone. Yellow Zone means: it is mandatory to wear masks also outdoor. To stay indoors of restaurants and bars you would need to present a green pass or negative test/antibody certificate (also paper form). Self declaration: Starting from May, 24 all passengers wishing to enter Italy, via all means of transportation, will be required to complete the digital PLF prior to entering the country. A description of the process requested can be found via the following link. If there is no health commissioner available to check your QR code on arrival, it is not your duty to get in touch with the local health authorities and the request seems to be an error as we had called the indicated phone number several times with no answer and/or where told that it is not necessary to call the health authorities in Sicily. Your digital registration is. Furthermore for domestic flights no PLF is required.

Restrictions during your holiday: 1m distance to other people besides people travelling in your group. If distance can't be maintained due to crowdy places a facemask is requested. Experts strongly recommend to also often wash hands thoroughly with soap.

Cancellation policy for new bookings: Our adapted cancellation policy to help you plan your trip with peace of mind can be found here

While in Italy or Sicily: In event of suspicion for Covid-19 call the relevant number you can find here for each Italian province.

Sicily4u customer support: We will help you, should your trip be impossible or only partially feasible, to rebook or cancel your bookings at favourable rate by renegotiating depending on the booking and travel situation. However, as an agency for holiday homes in Sicily, we are ultimately subject to Italian rental law, which by decree provides for travel vouchers instead of refunds. Important: If you have not taken out travel insurance, as strongly recommended by us under clause 8 in our General Terms and Conditions at the time of booking, please also check the cancellation protection of your card provider (if you have paid by credit card). If the entry restrictions have been lifted and the stay in the booked holiday home is possible, as a rule our General Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of booking apply.

Cleaning of our villas: We guarantee a thorough cleaning and disinfection of our villas, so that you can enjoy a risk-free stay.
