La Rosaspina is a beautiful countryside villa in a splendid location, nestled in the rolling hills behind Cefalu, with stunning views of the bay and the town. The peaceful setting make this an ideal location for anyone seeking a truly relaxing holiday, immersed in the lush garden and only a short drive from the picturesque town of Cefalu and the long sandy beach. The villa boasts many beautiful outdoor spaces like the patio and terrace as well as sitting areas in the garden. There is also a lovely stone BBQ area and outdoor dining table, where one can enjoy many days dining al fresco.
The interiors of the villa have been lovingly decorated by the owners, to create a very inviting and comfortable home away from home including some chic but overall harmonious furnishings. There is a spacious, bright living room with sofa and a dining table, a typical masonry fireplace around which the living room is centred around and large doors to the patio with lots of light coming from the many windows. From the living room you have access via two steps, to the bedrooms on the ground floor, which consist of two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom (shower), 1 bedroom with bunk beds, as well as a further bathroom (shoer). Via wooden steps you gain access to the fourth (smaller) bedroom with double bed which can also be changed into a twin bedroom. This bedroom also has a en-suite bathroom and boasts a little balcony with a great view. The owners often use the balcony for stargazing in the beautiful and clear Sicilyn summer nights. The kitchen with its beautiful traditional majolica tiles is spacious and well equipped.
All in all we would highly recommend this property to anyone who seeks to get away from it all, with plenty of outdoor space in the garden for children to play or friends or family to relax. The sea lies in only 4km distance to the villa and Cefalu town in only 5km distance. Windy, but easy to manoeuvre roads lead to the bottom of the large hill and the main road to Cefalu where you find restaurants, cafes, shops and the long sandy beach and the cathedral as well as many other sights. There is Wifi included up to 500 MB per day. The connection is not always great, which is worth noting. Also worth noting is that the location is ideal for walking holidays in the Madonie mountains.
