Villa Calipso is a charming seaside villa, with a fantastic terrace right above the sea, located in Solanto - Santa Flavia, only 20 km East of Palermo. The spacious and cozy villa has been decorated with great care and offers a vast amount of outdoor space, from a sun terrace with deck chairs, to the splendid outdoor masonry bbq area (covered) and dining table for barbequing and dining ‘Al Fresco’, as well as the covered lounge area. Guests have direct access to the sea via a small stairway from the terrace, ideal for those who like having a swim any time of the day.
Villa Calipso main house extends over two levels. On the ground floor (which is five steps above the level of the terrace and garden) you find the well equipped kitchen and dining room, a veranda/lounge, one double bedroom (on request with further folding bed), 1 twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a laundry room.
The first floor consists of a further double bedroom accessible via outside stairs with en-suite bathroom with shower and another large terrace with a covered sitting area.
Approximately 40 m from the main villa is the annex, a independent apartment which consists of a double bedroom, a kitchen, sitting room with sofabed (for 1 person) and private terrace.
The proximity to Palermo, and good connection by train, makes this location ideal for those who want to explore the unique capital easily, and yet stay in the comfort of a smaller seaside location. Other sites in the close vicinity include the Archaeological site of ‘Solanto’ and the Basilica of Santa Flavia.
